Spinning FIBER FOR SALE
25% off Sale ... on already dyed, natural and undyed fiber not KAL or custom orders.
ALPACA
This is the herd where my fleeeces are from, these are the paca just after sheering. One of these is a Suri, I believe it's the dark brown, softer then anything. It's swell in it's natural state and spins up like a light and lofty dream. I have natural, creamy light, medium brown and a very dark brown. I did a search on the net and the going rate is anywhere from $3.50-7.50 an ounce. I think that's outrageous! So... I'm wanting to sell it to you for only $2.50 an ounce for natural colors and $3.00 an ounce for dyed. I'm not here to make a killing as everybody else seems to be, just here to make up some of the processing costs. mailto:wmdress@sbcglobal.net
Light brown, medium brown, dark brown. White Fawn
Please order by the names of the above colors.
Here is a close up of the Natural alpaca so lofty, soft, smooth and wonderful.
Hand Painted Alpaca
These ONLY are $2.75 per oz. Perfect for baby items as I dyed these in kool aid and alpaca is just the softest stuff in the world. They need to be fluffed up or split down before spinning. If you need me to do this for you I would be happy to oblige. I dyed these before I learned how to keep them fluffed up. When you write me just ask for them by their names (underlined) I would like to sell them as sets.
SET 1
Large purple and yellow bump which fades into blue. 4.4 ounces
here are the Yellow ball and Purple ball... all three of these would work very well together in a project. Yellow 1.9 ounce, purple 1.3 ounce. All three of these equal 7.6 ounces which would normally cost over $22 separately. If you purchase all of them together I will let you have the above three for $17.50.
SET 2
Top is solid Salmon, 2.6 oz. bottom is purple and salmon 1.8 oz together these equal 4.4 oz and should cost you over $13. If you purchase these together then you can have them for only $10. Buyer pays actual shipping charges and decides method of shipping. Will ship over seas.
WOOL ROVING
Why don't I have already dyed roving for you? Because we custom dye it to just what you desire. Whatever you like, anything and everything can be done. Want KoolAid only for a baby, you got it. Want me to use a photo you love, scan and send to me, we aim to please.
I have natural wool high grade, no low grade, itchy stuff. It's all really soft and nummy, non-itchy, great for any use. One of these is Ramboillet but the processor muddled them up so I'm not sure which is which. Since they are all so soft it's really hard to tell. The wool is only $1.85 per ounce. If you want it dyed it's $2.45 per ounce. There's a bit of VM but that falls out with the spinning.... especially when spinning lace. If you want I can run it through the drum carder to get the rest out but that's under the "Bumps" pricing which is above.
These massive bumps are over 8 ounces. When you order by the 8 ounce I give you a bit extra. ;-) They measure about 10" x 10".
WOOL pricing: Quantity discounts (for wool only)
For 1-7 oz $1.85 undyed, dyed $2.45 per ounce.
For 8 oz of undyed you pay only $14.40 (1.80 per oz) dyed $18.50 (2.31 per oz)
For a 16 oz of undyed you pay only $28. 00 (1.75 per oz) dyed $36.00 (2.25 per oz)
NATURAL BROWN Ramboillet!!!! yum!
This is just one step down from Merino so you KNOW how soft this stuff is. Butta soft, nummy against the skin and a dream to spin. Same pricing as the natural. This is from a natural dark brown fleece which had bits of rust tips, so it's lovely spun up. Processed, roving form. Only $1.85 per ounce.
UNPROCESSED Brown Romney! I left one fleece unprocessed, it's dark brown Romney. $1.50 per ounce for this one, compair at $1.77 and higher! This will need washing and carding with either your drum or hand carders. A great yarn to learn to spin with as the locks are a good length and theres crimp and curl to it. Very little VM in the unprocessed, almost none by the time I get done cleaning it.
Punta Clouds
This stuff is so wonderful. The moment I touched it I knew it was special I always do the itch test, which for me goes something like this. Take a sliver off of the fiber, tie it around my wrist which is very sensitive, then get back to work. If I forget it's there... we have a winner. This wool is from Punta, South America which is where it gets it's name. It's 85% wool and 15% mohair which makes for a great sock or anything else for that matter. I love this fiber, it's so lofty and light which is why I called it clouds. For photographing I swirled it like roving but they are not in long pieces so they are more like top,,, yet in some you have sliver so I'm unofficially naming it Clouds. These are ready for purchase, all are slightly over 4 ounces a Cloud. There are a few bumps left and I can custom dye it what ever color you choose. Order by name, only $10.00 each.
Punta, Ancient City
SOLD Punta Spring Roses
Sold love to make you more though.
Clear Day in Punta
Just Merino
Twilight
How can I call this "just merino"?!!! It's so lofty and light... this is such nummy stuff. You wont believe just how wonderful this stuff is. I dyed it so that you can make long color stranding from it just like Noro does. You can split this from end to end as it looks a ton like sliver,,, all open and see through when you hold it up so it will slit excellently. Wouldn't this be smashing socks! The name... obvious that I read the books just recently and loved them. Pretty obvious that these are my night sky colors at twilight, ending with the dark (black) "dead" of night and a little blood to seal the deal.
Just under 4 oz -- $10.00.

Take me to the River
This series was done on one of the softest of my 100% wool roving's. I'm thinking that this is my white Rambo but since I'm not positive I can't say so. Suffice to say that it's very soft, akin to Merino IMHO. Order by name over photo. Serene, lazy, water, lapping along the bottom of the boat as you drift down stream.

100% fine butta soft nummy MERINO
This is some of the softest stuff in the world and soooooo nummy! If you split this done the center length wise... then spin across the fiber so that you get all of the 8" or so of color before continuing to the next you will have a long color repeat. You can then ply it back with the other length and it should hit as a perfect replica of a Noro type yarn. With NO VM or other weird things and soft! Did I say that already? SOFT stuff here... gee, just look at it you can almost SEE how soft and wonderful it is.
This is some of the best merino I have ever seen. I only got 5 pounds of it so it wont last long. Each of these are about 3-4 ounces and are priced at $12.00 each, take one or all. Can be done in any color.
Kid Mohair

As you can see it's very silken, no itcy at all, shiny, soft, sparkling clean (NO VM at all!) and man is this a dream! I love this stuff. This is the softest stuff on the earth. I pulled a bit out for you and swirled it. This is top so you can spin just as it is or card it together with merino or do just about anything you want with it. $2.85 per ounce dyed, $2.50 undyed (white).

SOLD The good news is that I have plenty more raw fiber so if you want some in any colors just LMK how much and I can get it done for you.
The photo here is what happened when I washed and dyed the Romney fleece. This is $2.75 per ounce, gorgeous!! eh! ;-) When I spun this, I did NOT use the carders and spun fine hand lace from the lock! I LOVE this stuff.
The above photo was it all wet, these are dry. The left one has such depth of color and the right was just a bit different but I couldn't decide which I liked better so you get them both. I just picked up a dry lock and didn't even have to fluff it,,, just fed it into the wheel and WOW it's lovely. More photo's after I finish knitting it up. I did the green first.
Buyer pays normal shipping and any paypal fees. Write me and we will work up an invoice for you. WMDress@sbcglobal.net
If you see any of my prices as too high, please LMK and I want to see the URL to what you have seen as believe my prices are just below market value, some really well below. On Etsy.com the pricing for dyed wool is more like $3.75 per oz. so I feel that my prices are really good.
